420LB (120 Gallon) ASME Galvanized Steel Propane Tank
Model #: YSN420ASME-TH-GALV
- GALVANIZED PROPANE TANK: Has protective zinc coating that provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, thus significantly extends the lifespan of the tank; can last several decades with minimal maintenance, reducing the need for frequent replacements.
- APPLICATIONS: Better suited for environments with exposure to moisture, chemicals, or salty air, such as coastal areas, as they resist corrosion better than non-galvanized tanks; great for mixed heating systems, fireplaces, dryers, and grills.
- BUILT FROM HIGH-GRADE GALVANIZED STEEL and comes preinstalled with a propane float gauge that can easily accommodate a “Remote Ready Dial” (sold separately) and is fitted with high-quality valves – 1.25-inch ACME Fill valve, Service Valve, and Relief valve
- ARRIVES EMPTY: This is an EMPTY tank, vacuum purged, X-ray and hydrostatic tested
- ASME CERTIFIED: These cylinders are manufactured to ASME specifications in facilities that have a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9002 requirementsCOST EFFECTIVE: Although the initial cost of a galvanized tank might be higher than non-galvanized options, it can last for several decades with minimal maintenance, reducing the need for frequent replacements
Flame King’s ASME-Certified 420LB (120 Gallon) Vertical Galvanized Steel Propane Cylinder is a must-have for outdoor use and harsh environments. Galvanized tanks have a protective zinc coating that provides excellent protection against rust and corrosion, thus significantly extending the lifespan of the tank. Galvanized tanks can last several decades with minimal maintenance, reducing the need for frequent replacements. They are better suited for environments with exposure to moisture, chemicals, or salty air, such as coastal areas, as they resist corrosion better than non-galvanized tanks.
These cylinders are manufactured to ASME specifications in facilities that have a Quality Management System certified to ISO 9002 requirements. The advantage of ASME cylinders vs. DOT is that they do not require recertification after 12 years from the Date of Manufacture. The cylinder comes with a lid installed, it is already vacuum purged ready for filling with propane, and is epoxy coated on the base of the tank for superior rust protection. The tank is preinstalled with a propane float gauge that can easily accommodate a “Remote Ready Dial” (sold separately) and is fitted with high-quality valves – 1.25-inch ACME Fill valve, Service Valve, and Relief valve.
